Hey thanks for that. Checking the shipping rates now... seems expensive at the first glance.
Ok, cool... Didn't realize those were knife grade. Honestly I thought you had a piece to spare (for razor bevel setting) and I was going to offer a trade. I have a bunch of rock from Montenegro that's excellent for razor finishing. Not sure if you had any contact with the stones from Serbia and/or Montenegro? Anyway, thanks for the help!As the time passes, so we learn.

Rusen, can I ask for a bit of help please.
The guy from your OP doesn't respond to me at all.. maybe because I'm writing in English. A friend of mine will be going to Sofia on the 17th-19th of August and he offered to meet the guy and buy the stone for me. However I need to know if the stone is good for razors. Can you tell from the picture if it's any good? He says it's good in his description (yes, I understand Bulgarian a bit [emoji6] ), so sounds good to me, but I've never held this stone in my hand, so not too sure.
Second question, who is Vassilis, how can he help and where is he located? Is he a member here? Sorry... that was 4 questions.
Thanks in advance! As the time passes, so we learn.

i found this one today in morning. i thought it was a finishing hone (10k or +) but now i'm not so sure. when i found it, i smelled the oil scent (a powerfull smell >_< )
so wanted to ask you if this is a cretan hone or a finishing one? and its grit proximately?
i may also add some pic from back side of the hone if this is not clear enough to identify...
by the way do you any idea to make it right ground for use it, as you see in the pictures it's pretty broken and i don"t think it will be nice to hone my razors but also i don't have many tools to make it completely plane by a easy way
EDIT: here an other pic from back side

My two cretan hones. one was soaked in olive oil for 6 months! They are excellent hones although I haven't used them much of late, have to bring them out again
