Thanked: 11[QUOTE=Kristian;1592728]
Number 3 from right first row, the one with the slurry stone, is very fast one. I exchanged it with another hone and the old owner didn't like it, since it's not a finisher. It's rather from 3-7k.

Never said that I didn't like itit's an amazing stone.

That looks like the stone that was on the lower right of the picture - I believe he was asking about the one in the lower *left*, which is a much larger stone in a light wood box.

Ohh sorry. The other left [emoji6] well that one is a rare greenish coticule. A massive stone. No bbw side. Just a massive lump of stone. It's harder then the yellow ones and a bit finer. But it's a coticule for sure. Here it is next to the other greenish one...
And light slurry...

Thanked: 96I use the Naniwa 12k and the Suehiro 20k and find them to give a great sharp consistent edge but a little harsh. I started doing 15-20 X laps on my Escher under running water and the shave is really smooth. Sometimes I will use my Ark black but I need more laps to get the same edge as the Escher. Again a preference in finishing from honing to get it sharp.
