Well not such a big bargain on my buy but still, got me off the pot. If the lapping stone is crap, I'll lap on paper and a bit of glass.
I found the article in the library on stones. Norton 8k then my Swatty. I'm golden for now.
Now... coticles... hehe. (Facepalm)

Your Swaty may or may not improve your 8k edge. Odds are greater that it will improve the edge if your Swaty has not been lapped.
