I figured as much, you needed attention ??? well you got it now..
You haven't ever used one, have you, just another clueless follower, quoting other peoples work and threads on other forums."No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"

Oh my God! I can't believe you guys are still talking about this s***.

Thinning the shoulder of the bevel is easily done by honing with a little more torque than normal on a flat stone. You simply don't need a convex hone
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

I mean, I get that there can be value in lost arts. Hell, look at us shaving with straight razors for example. I also understand the point about how they did actually do it and someone isn't just making it up.
You know what else they used to actually do? Crap in a hole in the ground, carry water from the river, blood let, burn witches, believe the world is flat...just a few examples. Sometimes we don't still.do things for a reason.Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend. PR 27:17

Thanked: 49That's right but there is a.reason. to sell the convexed stones and lapping plates. Nothing more. Many people heard about this already. It's just rehashed in a different way because the bullsrush method of "your stupid and I know everything" only succeeded in getting him thrown and laughed out of most forums.
