Thanked: 402Nope, I must interrupt here.
You are guys and determined not to have sentiments about loveliness.
I - on the other side - am allowed to.
So actually all those lovely coticules should be mine!
Especially all this silly stuff with spots, zebra patterns, different colors and the like - send it to me, LOL
I'll write you a receipt that you're rockwell hardness 10 in return.

Thanked: 286I love the coticules to i think there great finisher with water and bbw slurry yellow water gives exallant shaves even after dmt1200 or 4k 8k norton. The only thing that has disapointed me with coticule is when used with slurry no wear near sharpenough once diluted ith water keenes improves but still not sharpenough for my stubble i have to drop back to norton 4k 8k then bbw coti shave is much more keener and consistant. I will always use the blue and yellow as above but have given up using slurry on yellow

Thanked: 3795You do not. I've never had a tiger stripe. I think ChrisL had the most beautiful one I've ever seen but he sold it. I know he posted photos of it at least a year ago. The one of my ones you are likely referring to is the thick one with all the lines in it. If you want to see what the tops of the stones look like, go to this thread.
BTW, so far I am only plastering walls. The real fun should be when I get to the ceilings. I think I'm going to build a mini ceiling mounted on saw-horses so I can practice getting the mix just right. I can also practice dodging the all the crud that is sure to be falling!Last edited by Utopian; 06-09-2009 at 07:03 PM.
