i have similar charnley which you have but this is not greenish more likely Brown color.
i talk with seller he doesn't know anything except he says it is may be overseas this means nothing,

That's what I conjectured, that a lot of the colour might be oil etc. on/in a white translucent Arkansas, but I don't know American hones well enough to say really.

has anyone used arkansas for final polish? i have one white color and small size. i will try them and see what is a differences between them or they are same. honing ability shouldn't change although colors are different right? lets see i will try it today.

There was a long thread about Arkansas stones a while back, that ended with the conclusions that they are very slow and death to DMT's when trying to lap them. I did not get any better results with either the translucent or black Arkansas than I did with a coticule or Chinese 12k. Great for knives, though.

ok guys i did check my stones took me long time but i find out i think i have 3 more arkansas stones.
You will see the pictures. let me know what do you think. Big stone which we have doubt about it i think is 96% arkansas only brown dots and lines confuse me that is it. Let me know what do you think. 3 stone kinda half white and half brown. INteresting . last one is 100 arkansas

Seen a seller today (gotentirely2muchstuff), offering a whole collection.
She has them in opaque and translucent, too.
