WHAT IS IT?
I just got this and at first i thought it is charnley forest. after compare my another cf i think it is not charnley f. the reason is mainly color is more brownish and looks like translusent arkansas. i do have translusent arkansas too but a little white then this one. any way i am confused and lets see someone can find out what is it.
it has very fine feeling , and will leave very nice edge similar to charnley forest.
Size ,shape, wooden box , acting same as charnley forest but color is different.

I don't know what it is but it sure is pretty.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 488Sham,
Gorgeous colors in that stone. I've never seen anything like that before. It certainly has a smooth finish.

Thanked: 402Really beautiful!
Does it have the typical slate / silky sheen like the CF or is it more glass like / homogenous, like agate?

Sham, I think Ron is saying this, if you can have different colors of eschers (and coticles) why cant you have a different colors of Charnley Forest? Judging from the photographs, this stone still has somewhat of an olive color like the other Charnley Forest stones. Like Ron, I have to ask, where do you find these? It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
