I did order from Amazon..but not the exact stone you did. Mine is Obsidian and a good burnisher but not a hone. I am happy with the edges I got on two Kamisori from it. Howsomever it is the same as honing on Jasper and seems to be OK.

It is not an Arky and I'm glad to set my end of the record straight. PuriTest is one of the venders that sells the obsidian.

Yours probably is an Arki and at a great price. I did check the link you gave and that vender is the one to go to for what you received!
