I use USPS priority mail w/Delv conf. If the stone's value is over 100.00, insure it. If your shipping outside the US, Insurance stops at the border. Lot's of people are unaware of this...For Int'l shipping, check out "shipsurance"...They insure door to door and are very affordable. I've used it for stones in excess of 300.00 "Nakayama's" to Japan...UPS and Fedex cost 2x as much to ship to Japan vs USPS....
USPS really is the best value. I've never had a problem....I do work there, but don't "hand deliver it"....They won't let me...and we're not hiring...Go figure....Last edited by zib; 07-26-2010 at 02:23 PM.
