OOzuku Asagi
I just wanted to express my total glee;
When I opened my mail yesterday I had received a Oozuku Agasi and Honzan/tomonagura stone from Maxim at JNS.com.I can't wait to put up some pics for you guys, the stamps are already gone due to my testing on 10 razors last night.
I can't wait to see the result when I shave, it is a very hard stone.
I suck at taking pictures since I only have a cell phone for that but I will post some in this thread when I get home from work.

Does a tree falling in a forest make a sound when there is no one to witness?
Does a hone on Disburn's table exist without a picture? (guessing so, knowing his HAD)
Enjoy and send lots of reports.

Oozuko an Shobudani are the two mines known to produce some of the hardest stones.Stefan

Rich, I sent you Pms back.
I know this stone is big rage right now but I think it's deserved it's a very hard stone, at least the one I have is. I finished 10 razors with light slurry and then diluted last night and the edges seem very smooth and sharp. I shaved with a Dubl duck finished with this this morning and the shave was like a knife in butter.
The Shoobie Doobie is also fine and hard from what I hear.Last edited by Disburden; 01-21-2011 at 06:18 PM.
