    Default OOzuku Asagi

    I just wanted to express my total glee;

    When I opened my mail yesterday I had received a Oozuku Agasi and Honzan/tomonagura stone from Maxim at JNS.com.I can't wait to put up some pics for you guys, the stamps are already gone due to my testing on 10 razors last night.

    I can't wait to see the result when I shave, it is a very hard stone.
    I suck at taking pictures since I only have a cell phone for that but I will post some in this thread when I get home from work.

    Does a tree falling in a forest make a sound when there is no one to witness?

    Does a hone on Disburn's table exist without a picture? (guessing so, knowing his HAD)

    Enjoy and send lots of reports.

    Don't know Rich,

    You can always send it over to me. My Asagi is one of my favorite finishers.

    Have fun,

    Lynn

    Oozuko an Shobudani are the two mines known to produce some of the hardest stones.

    Nice! Did you see the really beautiful super blue Shoubudani asagis he had a little while back? He posted them right after I bought a big Ozuku from him. It was torture

    Rich, I sent you Pms back.

    I know this stone is big rage right now but I think it's deserved it's a very hard stone, at least the one I have is. I finished 10 razors with light slurry and then diluted last night and the edges seem very smooth and sharp. I shaved with a Dubl duck finished with this this morning and the shave was like a knife in butter.

    The Shoobie Doobie is also fine and hard from what I hear.

    I wish I could take pictures of hones while here but it's not banking appropriate .
