    Nice find. The Swaty looks good. I think you'll like it. I keep one out, by my razors for quick touch ups.....

    Thanks Antique stores are my only outlet for SSAD (Shaving Stuff AD) as I'm too financially challenged (poor) to pick up goods from people who need to make a profit. I had about 30min and knew of an antique shop. Took my little girl out to lunch, and bought these with the change I had left over.

    The swaty does appear to be in great shape and I will turn to it when I need to touch up my razors I'm using now.

    Nice Swaty! Seldom seen without some chips-yours looks perfect. They work better with a little lather than with water alone, IME. The blade sticks to the stone for more even contact.

    Thanks for the tip. My weeks pretty busy for getting to play around with razors, but will probably get to some of my projects this weekend. I'll give the Swaty (and the lather) a shot then.
