I have one of the all green ones. It is very fine and works well with oil, but I don't use it much these days.

zib, I recognize your CF. There was a thread about the other half
Do you have any details of the stone you show? You have to be careful as there are very simmilar hones to the eye (D. Blue, TOS, Llyn Idwall).

I'll take a look this evening. I have considered that it could be a Llyn Idwal as well. It is finer than a coticule though.

It's not a Dalmore Blue for sure, I have a couple stinking up my stones corner. It's pretty hard which excludes the regular ToS. If you rub the surface it feels like it can't be more than 6k but it will polish a razor pretty good.

There was an "unknown" hone on ebay recently:

I don't know much, but I think that's a Charnley Forest... It definitely went for a grip at almost $200. That's too rich for my entry level RAD/HAD.

That's a charnley. I was watching it, but something that characteristic will get noticed easily. I would hate to lap that one though.

Lapping CF is not hat bad. there are worse hones to lap such as Rozsutec. An hour or two and it should be done well.

Here are a couple.... the single one is mine and the table shot is from the RazorCon London. Some of those are Scipio's and Adrspach's.
