    Default And the HAD continues

    My new stone arrived today.
A huge CF that I got from e-bay at a steal price.
    315x55x 40mm

That thing is huge , I did not realize it until I saw the box and the stone...

you are thinking one dimensional here.
Theoretically it can be cut in two 2 cm thick ones

Nice score! I'm interested to hear what you think of the CF.

I quite like mine but I find it's very slow so you have to do a lot of strokes, around 100 usually!

Will do, but first I have to figure out how to lap a super hard stone that almost 2 times longer than my DMT.

As far as speed I wonder what will happen if you take a raor that has been on your Jnat to the CF, may be it will need much less laps to get the result?

To change the finish left by the Jnat to that of the CF, you still need to do about 60 laps. They are very nice finishers usually, but some can be coarser than you might expect. It is a shame how slow they are.

Check out that Whammer! Yikes. Congratulations Stefan. Some razor steels "like" the novaculite to rough em up just a bit before a J-nat or Escher smooth down. Use a nice light solvent free oil for top performance. Have fun
