    Default covenant stone

    just in my covenant stone from tcblades in israel i wanted a stone in the 8-10k range it came with three slurry stones and a beautiful wood box enjoy!

    well the stone is 8 1/2 inchs long on the narrow end of the stone it is 1 1/2 wide and at the other end about 1 3/4 wide three slurry stones one is of the same material of the stone the other two are of different material i'll use water on this stone

    the other two are more coarse im guessing.
    what material, and what effective grit guesstimation for the other two.

    i would say the cream color one is the coarsest one the blue stone is medium in fineness and the slurry stone in the box is the finest made of the same material as the hone

    Very cool I hope you can tell us more after you start using it. With the three different slurry stones it sound like using a Japanese natural. Do you know what these stones were meant to hone?

    well on the web site i bought it from they use them on knives and razors it depends on how hard the stone is the covenant stone can range from 800grit to 10,000 + grit
