I agree. The C12k is harder than the Thurry, therefore the only slurry being generated is from the Thurry itself, there being no contamination from the C12k.

Nice stone btw. I hope you enjoy it. You can go to it after an 8k, but if you have a 12k, finish on the 12k then go to the Thurry. Or try both and see what difference there is in the final edge, if any.
