This is my favorite, vintage coticule 9.5" hard natural combo.

Depending on what the blade needs I like to use the 20cm LPB combo on the left, and/or the 150cm La Verte next to it.

Thanked: 13245A Funny Trend
I was just looking through here at the pics and noticed a trend...
Those of us that don't know the name of our Coticule tend to own one, those of you that have the La's and Le's tend to own many....
I find that rather interesting

Thanked: 12Not me! All of mine are vintage and I got 1 7", 1 5", 2 4x2's, and a 5x2. Really only use the 7" and the 5" though.

Great thread!
My 'Go-To' coticules are these two pictured. Both are 'vintage' and I have no idea of the names, although I've seen pictures of a 'La Dressante au Bleu' that seem similar to the larger one pictured. The small one is a 5 x 1 and is great for heel and toe work. Very fast cutter. The larger one is 8 x 1.75 and puts a wonderfully 'smooth' edge on a blade...
