Nice stone, I'd like to see it wet, without slurry. It looks like it might be Lpb, but I'm not sure. Definitely selected grade.
Cotis are a lot of fun once you get the hang of them. They impart a nice smooth edge...Don't rule out your Jnat, It should be able to take your Coti edge up a notch. They are a bit more tempermental ime, but worth it, once you get the hang of them.Last edited by zib; 05-28-2012 at 11:59 PM.

If you really want to improve on the coti edge, after finishing as usual, put a few drops of mineral oil on the stone and give it another 50 laps with minimal pressure. The oil washes right off the stone without a hint of it left behind. The edge still maintains the smoothness but with a little extra umph.
