Thanked: 4942I have used both the Naniwa SS 1K and the Chosera 1K on thousands of razors and really can't tell much difference in the results when setting the bevel. Because I use the most pressure when setting bevels, it is purely a personal preference to go with the Chosera.
Have fun.

I used a SS almost exclusivly for the first few hundred razors I honed and it was almost worn out when I got the Chosera, now after at least as many razors on the Chosera there's hardly any wear compared to the SS.
This combined with the speed and feedback from the Chosera makes it "the bevelsetter" for me.Need help or tutoring? Check out the .

I have a few bevel setters, and I prefer the Chosera. It is faster, but more importantly, I like the feedback, or the way it feels when I'm honing. To me, that's more important than speed. I just maintain my own razors, for the most part.
Before the Chosera, I was using the Naniwa SS set. Now, I use the Chosera 1k, and the Shapton GS for the rest.We have assumed control !
