Here is another one of the green-blue metallic looking stones. It came from france and was sold
in this wooden frame box. It seems that many appeared this way, not sure they were selfmade by the users of FGBC sold the stones that way....it measures 14,5x7x2cm. It is stamped "extra fine" which is only visible because the area where the ink was before dries faster then the other areas.

    Here is my contribution
A blue "pierre La Lune" EXTRA FINE, once sold by "F.G.B.C.", 120 - 62mm

It has beautiful "metallic" sparkles, especially when wet,
Very smooth stone which gives a lovely edge with a great smooth and close shave

These are very beautiful stone. I am fortunate to have two such model but different size. A smaller and narrower, which is very good for some razor. They are in my stones set for sharpening razors. They are placed before latter. I have two violet model but also one that is huge.

What are the "definitions" of a Vosges youre familiar with ? I think it makes sense to talk about it or add pictures if you have some available Martin....
My problem with the "Vosgienne" is that there is no documentation or marked stone that i'm aware of.

Not 100% sure but i reminds me on the Pierre Chimique or Pierre D'affutage. It seems to be a synthethic Material with a specific abrasive....

Thank you for the info.... I saw it on eBay and wondering about it. It never sold. I wasn't going to try and translate the French..... Would have taken me forever to do this.
    Thanks again Sebastian!
