Thanked: 202If I was you I would not pray for hard example. So far in my experience there is not much difference in performance of LIs in dependence of their hardness. However if I had choice I would rather lap soft one then hard one. Once you try it you will know.

Here is a closer up picture. It wasn't as hard to lapp as I thought it might be. I'm not sure how fine it is yet. I lapped it on a course diamond plate as the stone surface still feels a little rough on my tongue.
