The way you guys describe make me want to invest the $$$. Honestly, my beard is thick and an effortless smooth shave makes me to all Hmmmmm

Coming from two avid coticule users, this says a lot.

    The same.
The edge I get has no problem even after 30 plus shaves

Hey rolodave, do you think that the edges are usable longer (more shaves) that a Naniwa 12k for eaxample?

After reading the laudatory comments from avid Coticule users I decided to revisit my 20K.

Took 3 Swedish frameback razors from a 7-day set and finished them all on the 20K.
I then took 2 of them and finished them on an Escher and a Coticule.

Shave test was interesting. But there was one clear winner for me: the 20K.
It felt a tad smoother and keener than the others.

I have only shaved with a Jnat edge a few times a long time ago, but IIRC it was a very keen and smooth edge.
This is probably what the 20K reminds me of most. I like it, a lot.

Very close shave and very comfortable.

    I really don't know.
I have used some kind of finisher after a 12k for so long I don't remember shaving off a 12k.
    Sorry
