People use all sorts of weird stuff to put an edge on a razor, I can't really see a power strop as practical, unless you are going to install a bench grinder in your bathroom and change out one of the wheels for the strop. Or go crazy and put 3 bench grinders in there and have 6 power strops with different pastes on each.
You could even cut your hones into discs and mount them on bench grinders too, about 3 additional grinders should do it.
Then you could install a couple of turn tables to save on space and mount 3 grinders onto each one.
OR you could just use a hanging strop and a couple of stonesBread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Thanked: 1184To remove a burr, to identify and remove a wire edge, and to refine an edge to the level of proper aggressiveness for use within an intended task through the application of a powered medium (substrate) such as a belt or wheel.
a belt hooked up to a grinder
or any device that moves the leather at a speed allowing the user to quickly destroy a razors edge. >>Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I think the top one would be from around the middle of the cow, and the bottom one from the leg of a calf. You just ring around your bovine with a Stanley knife twice making the incisions the appropriate distance appart for the width of belt you want to make. Carefully remove said loop of skin and voila.
