OK, Tarkus suggested the sensible thing to to, breadknife then take the Greaves to the DMT 325.....he almost talked me into it but then I ordered a Chosera 400 grit....I tried to work on the DMT about a month ago with a hopeless French frameback and I have been traumatized by razor on DMT so I have to go to a hone I trust .....I ordered the 400 after another 20 minutes with the 1K Chosera and almost getting there.....hey, don't tell Tarkus......I guess you could, he knows I am a hardhead.

I much prefer low grit stones to DMT's & find the overal process can be faster especially if the stones are in a branded progesssion.
No need to BK just hone as normal but use tape with the 400
