Thanked: 133Been working on improving my jnat edge lately. Razor used in the practice was a nice mk 4 in decent condition, good edge. Finished it 4-5 times swapping between my kiita and oozuku and trying 2 different tomos. Felt like I made progress on jnat skills, with right tomo I can get very nice edge on both stones. Still wanting to push edges just a tad bit further. Going to just enjoy the shaves and wait until a different razor needs a touch up before getting back to it. Mk 4 ended up with an ozuku finish and hard tomo that scratches stone surface if I am not careful.

A fresh JS Holler off the workbench, in need of full edge restoration.
Two layers tape, 1000 Chosera with slurry from dressing Stone, to remove chips n pits. Remove one layer tape and set bevel with Chosera n water.
Then a progression of a Washita n water.
B/G Escher, heavy slurry to water.
Finished on a hard dark blue Thurigan, with water.
Lots of leather...test shave this morning. !
Been getting some very comfortable edges with this combo, so far.

Honed up this Bengal earlier today.
Shapton 1/4/8/Escher. Quick n easy.
Just shaved with it and it was perfect . Close, smooth, no weepers
Cheers.

For a Sunday shave I dug out my La Lune stones which give me a super keen edge and prefer the larger purple tinted one (for smoothness) and stayed with the French theme adding MdC and Plisson to the pic, which is a smaller brush but still gets it done.Lucky to find a Le Grelot 14 with very little hone wear.

Honing is addictive
I just took to shave ready blades , killed the edges and re honed them.
A Base camp X Hart & A Greaves Sons.
Shapton plus Chosera's, finished them both on the Gok 20k
Shame I have to wait until some facial hair grows to test them.
