The last one I bought, shipped from Germany in three days !
An Akamusa apparently, not exactly the same as Modine, but not so different I think.
I'll have to tame it

Here is a French razor that needed some edge repairs. A Chosera 600 was deployed. No messing around with this stone.
Move to a natural line up to repair the repair work from the 600.
A final finish on Japanese and Thuringian naturals.
100 laps on a Kanayama 70000. It is recommended to hold the razor flat against the face while shaving, until comfortable.

Thanked: 98Glens saves his Old slurry. I like his idea somewhat, but then all slurry is crushed, don't you think?
when the coticule slurry has been used, the particle size is reduced, so using the Old finer slurry makes sense if you can keep it clean of say 1000 grit particles.

Thanked: 13245I will try and find the original thread about it,,, one of our Brit members came up with the idea to crush the same patch of slurry over and over and over..
I tested it back then and liked the result, it works even better with this slurry stone then my original one, makes for a really smooth feel on the hone..
Nothing really huge just some fun in the mud
Here is one place Alex is talking about his ideas

I think this was the original. after that he PM'd me and asked if I would test it too
