What about a shavette? I recently acquired a feather which i found good to use.
Just lather up with some shampoo or similar.
You have a bit of time to try a few things before you commitBread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Yeah I might grab a shavette, too. DE is probably gonging to be my go to. I don't know much about the mission just yet. I may end up traveling around a lot in which case I'll be living out of a backpack with my main gear at a base I pass through on occasion. If I'm out and about chances are I'll be growing a beard anyway...who knows at this point.
Thanks guys!Keep it safe and Cheers,
Jer

A DE is a good choice. When I travel I take my Gillette Super Speed, which is backup to my Gillette Fatboy. If the Superspeed is damaged, lost, or stolen I wouldn't mind too much. I can probably replace it for less than $10. The Fatboy, however, is harder to find and would be an expensive replacement.
Stay safe!
