Hope he does c9me back and doesnt get dicouraged by how this thread went. Its not always this way. Honing is just a personnal thing and we all have our ways and dislikes. Come on back and join in.It's just Sharpening, right?

Bah, you guys must have learned how to hone well! Why do I say that with so much confidence? Because if you hadn’t, you’d know what I know - pastes on a good felt strop is the ultimate equalizer.
