If thats too much then why is it done by the likes of Dovo etc

I put CrO on my paddles like paint and refresh every 15 or 20 razors and haven't had any issues.

Ok, I'll throw my two cents in for the stick/paste sold by Don and lynn. it's the stuff used by Matro Livi, no fuss,no muss, just apply and go.....It works for me....

Thanked: 1212In my experience (on leather), it does not matter much whether the coat is translucent or not. As long as you don't allow a fuzzy, chalklike layer on top of the surface. A coat like that is detrimental to the edge. But a nice and even, sheeny green is what I would aim for if I had to sell pasted paddles. At home, I don't care if it doesn't look that neat, but from a sales perspective, I think it does.
