Is the cause of hairy tongue related to that of hairy palms?

I'm not brave enough to try this test out sorry. I also have poor sensitivity in my fingertips (poor circulation), and I have very fine arm hair so neither of those tests will work reliably for me. I'll just stick to what I currently do - I do the arm hair test, only I use the hair on my legs - it's coarser (very similar in coarseness to my beard), so it catches better on the edge and cuts easier than my arm hair, which bends and slides off even the sharpest pro-honed razors.

Maybe the fine hair on your arms can be used if you test closer to or on the skin & try cutting ATG ? Just a different point of reference.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Obviously this is a technique that someone used at some point in time to check the edge of razors...
I realize that Popeye is a cartoon and intended to be funny, however, I don't think the animators intended for the guy licking the blade to be a funny part of the cartoon, but is more representative of what one may have seen a barber of that era do to check a razor...

    Interesting.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I tried, and will try on a few more razors. But, then, my wife says I'm not the brightest bulb... Thanks for the tip!

I dont know... I have read the various barbering texts we have in the wiki and have not seen it mentioned.

Hidden in this is a silver lining the tong can heal faster
than most any other part of the body. A tongue piercing
can begin to close in no time and cut lips do not scar.

It is not anything I would recommend. Just too unsanitary
so no honemaster should do this. I have heard of this
with knives... I put it in the same space I place licking 9volt
    batteries.
