And just so folks don't start wondering... "Why in the world would he have 4 identical razors?"... it is a 4 day set:

Glen, without revealing specifics, did your test shaves give you an idea as to how you'd personally rank them?

Ray, anyone wondering why you have 4 identical Mappins has a bigger problem themselves...

Thanked: 1195Ray, those are gorgeous Mappin & Webbs! The type you don't see up for sale too often, that's for sure.
Now I'm interested in the results.

Great set Ray. You should give the cold water shave a try on one of the days.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Methinks my friend Glen has mistakenly addressed a package to my friend RayG instead of my self GG.
You know it's not too late, the post office doesn't open until Tuesday, there is still time to reroute that box!!!!

Thanx guys ! It 's interesting that in spite of all razors being finished the same way ie on pastes the essence of each stone was discernible , well, a couple of 'em anyway
Would be great to know if half a dozen shaves in there was any perceived "equalisation" of edges or if they still feel slightly different.“The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.”
