I hope to speak to one vendor on Monday. Prices from private parties seem to anticipate the price jump. One was very close (La Veinette), but the coti layer got really thin at one end - possibly < 1/8". While that would probably be fine - $200+ for 7x2 with a real thin end doesn't seem that good. Another was $245 for a 6x2 LL (Lateneuses for non fans). LV and LL are riding high - popularity-wise. I'd rather have the function and value of one less popular - I understand LPB (Petit Blanche) is a pretty consistent performer also, and not bad cutting speed on water.
