    When my daughter starts dating I will take up guillotine construction and testicular golf as hobbies.

    I am past that. My daughter is 21.

    When she was 16 my brother sent me a castration device that looks like a bolt cutter! He is "different" When she was due to be born he sent me a twine string like what we used to pull calfs. I still have that in a drawer.

    Nope, never have honed anything for 3 hours. If you're not getting results in five minutes, drop back to a coarser grit. Honing is a progressive process so start at whatever coarse grit you need to and go finer from there. You should be able to hone any razor in less than 30 minutes and most in 20.
