    I was hinting that maybe it needed more 8k time... or maybe even a lower grit. An 8k shave should see you very close to finished. Try it, you may be polishing too early on that razor.

    I went back to my 3k natural.than my 8K norton,Than my coti,she shaves like a dream
    I still think Wackers are not the norm,just a feeling I have.

    Yeah water only & very light no pressure strokes but if you are satisfied with the edge & can not possibly see it improving in any way leave it alone.
    You did work hard & now you know where the problem lay you can repeat the results.

    +1 on Glen's observation that they can be a challenge, respond to Nanis well (and cotis and asagi). Its one of very very few razors that require some fussing with to get right that I'll put up with. The results have been very satisfying.

    Like the old Cheech and Chong line: I smoked a piece of concrete once. It took me 3 hrs to get it lit, but once you do - you're flying!

    The heavy grind Wackers have been the most enduring favorites in the rotation.
