    Default Wackers make me crazy:(

    Anyone find them difficult to hone? Just curious,your thoughts.

    Hmmmm...they sometimes take a few more strokes than normal, and I tend towards a natural finisher for them. They seem to like that.

    Mine hones up nicely, and I had one not too long come through, and it was a dream.

    Sorry, I'm not helping am I? Do you have a coti? Try it straight through from the 4k, dilute to water, and then finish on water.

    Thx maxi,tried a new Jnat today and it just did not happen for me with the wacker.
    Will try the coti in the mornmJnat worked to perfection with some others.
    Maybe something with the steel wacker uses.

    Wacker and Revisor tend to be rather chippy and can get harsh....

    These are on my "head straight to the full set of Naniwa SS's" list of razors... Once you get them dialed in though you will find they are worth the trouble...

    Good info,will go back to the Coti,other blades love the jnat (nakayama KIIta)The wacker do's not I suppose.Thx

    Wondering why you think this. The shave was good at 8k or 12k then the Kiita made it worse ?

    Never shave at 8K,normally will go 8K to Jnat and be done,perhaps the wackers as said above are tempered diff than what I am used to and just need more Jnat time.

    If you are using kiita for finishing you should not have problems. Given that each stone is different, Kiita are not hard stones compared to Asagi in most cases.

    I think you are 100% right,is not the razor nor the stone,but the always learning honista.
    It will come around eventually,time is one thing I have alot of, thank god.
