    this is what I am starting to feel like doing. honing is not easy to learn!!!!

    Thats the most disturbing thing I ever witnessed. I'm still cringing after the fact.
    They should put him in straight razor prison for that video

    That vids been around awhile. I believe the guy that made it is a member of SRP.

    I've used that technique for years. If the grit of the brick is too high, I'll start with a concrete block and do the bevel-setting with that. It is important to make sure the concrete block is wet (this is wet shaving after all), and it is difficult to find tubs big enough to immerse a concrete block. I just let it sit in the bathtub with the wife while she's in there. I've found that doing this allows the concrete block to absorb some of the Aloe Vera from her soap and makes for a smoother bevel. Then it's on to the brick for a final polish. Weathered bricks are finer in grit, so I spend a lot of time stealing them from older homes in the neighborhood. For final stropping I use my mother-in-law's leather couch, but I only do it when she's not home.

    What the HELL????? I laughed so much when he pulled out the milk that I nearly spit my scotch! There is a special furnace in hell, for anyone that would seriously treat a razor like that.
