    That seems to be the general consensus. Regardless, I'll talk to them tomorrow and grill them as to how they actually deal with straight razors. If it's not what I should do, Badgister is probably my best choice.

    Hi there, another Montrealer here!

    If you want to start honing I must warn you of the 2 conditions that you might catch : HAD and SAD.
    I now have quite a few hones and razors.

    I am by no mean a honemeister but I hone my razors and its a very "zen" activity.
    I think your at the right place to learn the basics.
