Thanked: 234I didn't think I would like the Storm Rider, but it's so ridiculous you can't not like it! 5" blade that's a 1/4" thick, you would have to be doing something extremely silly to worry about breaking that. It would probably involve tanks.
1095 is a good steel as well IMO. Don't like the kydex sheath though, going to make a leather one.

I would like to thank you guys for igniting another passion in me. I currently carry one of these: Buck Summit, SOG Vulcan, Fallkniven PXL (my favourite one these days), Fallkniven FH9 or a custom liner lock by Steve Woods. I have also ordered two custom folders from Czech knife makers who do excellent work with modern and traditional materials (how does a Wootz slip joint dressed in Mammoth tooth sound to you?) plus I am ramping up my collection of fixed blades also, some of them with Damascus blades. Stay with razors if you can, knife addiction is an order of magnitude more expensive.

Thanked: 11New EDC Knife
Hey everyone!!!
My current EDC knife is a Cold Steel Voyager, clip point the small size (3" blade"). Im after a new EDC knife, the blade needs to be 3" or under. I was thinking of the Benchmade 556 Mini Griptilian, it looks very very nice . I was also thinking of maybe a SOG Twitch 2, but they are more expensive. I do have a SOG Tomcat 3.0, but i cant carry that badboy around lol.
Any comments or anything?
P.S. The knife is more utilitarian use, not fighting.
Thanks
Marco

Thanked: 20Can't go wrong with the mini-grip, if you can, hold the twitch before you buy, some folks just don't like the feel. also look at the spiderco knives, I belive they still offer the UK pen knife which is a slip-joint, making it fairly cop-proof.
