OK cool. Basically the same rules as Ontario.

If you are a good boy no problems. But if they want to they will find some rule that you are breaking.

TC, we were at Target yesterday and a guy about my age, basketball shorts, Tee shirt, backwards hat and a Glock dangling off his shorts for all the world to see. I was a little shocked. I showed the whole family and we were all a little breath taken.

Here in Canada, to even own a pistol, you first need a PAL license which is a day course. This allows you to acquire and poses shotguns and rifles with barrel lengths above 18".

If you want a hand gun or an AR15 you need your restricted license, which is another day course. Then, the only time you can use it is is at a range, and you cannot stray from your route to the range while driving with it in the car.

Do these guys who open carry, or conceal carry need any special licensing?

Yes they do but it's a little loose in he southwest , if your in the country out there it's pretty cool, I know Arizona has one of the best Ccw around to reciprocate with other states too. Glad our seeing some sights! Tc

It's a state by state thing, each state has it's own rules...which I don't necessarily agree with since we are the same country.

Open carry is totally legal in Tennessee and Georgia. Can't see the point of doing so though.
Just about any kind of knife you choose to tote is also legal in the great Volunteer State.
