The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Beautiful swords. Where did you get them from?

Assortment of Case, Victorinox, and Gerbers. An Ek single-edge circa 1970. Same era Grohmann/Russell Canadian Belt Knife (by far my favorite hunting/skinning knife).

Thanx. The Cheness from a distributor in South Australia. The others imported from manufacturers & other distribs.

Don't worry about it. Not everyone has a collection running into the thousands (I know I don't...I don't have a single piece that cost over $265 and most of the pieces I have were 120 euro's or less)

That's not reason not to be proud of what you HAVE collected though.

Just added a few pieces to my collection. We had a knife show yesterday and I spent WAY more then I should have. Brought home some lovely goodies though.:

A friction folder that I traded for a piece I made for someone else. (We exchanged pieces that we made for each other)

A hand forged knife made from a carbon steel spring that came so sharp that a friend who also bought one had it in his coat pocket....got cut through his coat pocket and the carboard that he was carrying it in in two fingers.

A handmade kwaiken from carbon steel with visible temper/hardening line and gorgeous wrapped handle.

Well, shucks. I finally get around to taking pics of my knives today and ran into some bad luck. I cannot find the cable that goes from my camera to the computer. OOOOOH, just thought of something.... Will post back.

    There! I got 'em up!!

Good stuff!! you've got some nice ones there! A couple of Buck classics and some nice looking Gerbers.

Nothing to be ashamed of I say.
