Don't worry Ed, I'm also good at speaking the same language (better than my dismal Welsh in fact!)...Better, however, at writing it, as in a face to face conversation, I wouldn't have enough time to think of saying something like that. Or the delivery would be all wrong in the saying of it.

Yes, editing is good too its easier to be witty when you have time to look up references, and compose an answer.

What did I tell you, all they needed was to wake up and have some coffee.

G'day~! I'm trying to get Perth folks connected for making knives razors & more.I can help with supplies etc.I have a heap of HD industrial hacksaw blades I'm eyeing up as razor blades.I'd be me than happy to sling a couple of pieces to someone keen to make good use of them. Also I'll be forging some straight japanese style razors soon.If interested in forging I can arrange classes.I don't teach as I'm still learning myself.Teacher would be Antonio Battistessa(You can google him) Yourself or anyone interested give me a shout.

Yep, though I am starting the citizenship process, but I am sure there must be at least one other Aussie in Perth, perhaps you could do a cooeee, or an Aussie oi and see what happens
