Somehow I managed to delete my last reply. I was wondering of you guys can make a suggestion about a good beginner razor, preferably new, not Dovo, shave ready and from a seller in EU.

Never used a "conditioner" on leather strops.
I rub my palms on the strop in use 3 or 4 times per day. On the very rare occasion I have used 100% Neets foot oil. In the winter I will rub the leather with a damp towel. This puts Some moisture in the leather. I read once leather should have 20% moisture.
Some people oil regularly.
There are several threads on strop maintenance. They are worth a read.If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.
