I thought this would be the perfect place to meet people with an understanding of what I have.

My father was a barber in the old style. I inherited his tools. His brush I cherish as the bristles are worn to his hand and when I miss him I hold the brush and feel his hand.

But his blades I don't understand. He has some plastic Tondeo things that he inserts blades into for hair. These are straight forward and not very interesting.

The blade that is exciting to me is the one in the blue box with gold lettering. The Gotta Razor. Inside the actual razor has the word Magic and Pat.Reg. on it and when I open it the blade part splits open but there is no sharp blade.

I don't think it has been used much as the shiny part has no scratches.
Does anybody have a name for this type of implement? I know it is a type of razor but what? I have pics but am not sure how to upload on this forum.

I am looking for enlightenment as to what this is called. I have looked on the internet but with no luck.
