I agree with Mick. It says Germany very clearly on the box and on other parts of the razor so its more likely that its just a poor stamping job in this case.

Thanked: 983No worries mate. And as Troggie said in a previous post,have it Professionally honed. It is better to have it as sharp as possible from the start. If you can't do with out it, then I would suggest that you do what I did eventually, but better sooner than later, buy yourself a second razor, but have it professionally honed before it gets to you (I actually just bought my own hones and did it myself, but I've had previous experience at sharpenening all kinds of blades. I still got it wrong first time around though). Then, as soon as it arrives, send your Dovo out for the same treatment.
The other option is to learn to do your own honing, and if you want to keep razors to a minimu I would suggest you still get the Dovo done by a Pro, but get yourself a cheaper practice razor to put to your own hones.
