Thanked: 0Here to get better with a razor(from VT)
I am new to SRP, and Ive been straight razor shaving for a few months now. I got into it with a Dovo Shavette and just purchased a vintage Bismarck, cant wait to get into stropping and honing. Im also excited to see a large community of Straight razor shavers and pipe smokers. I guess the two go hand in hand. anyway, glad to be among like minds!

Welcome to SRP.
So how is it going with the shavette? Are you using the DE cut in two or the rigid back Personna blades?
I started with a transition to DE shaving, then to the shavette and then to a shave ready razor purchased from a vendor in the classifieds. I've set the shavette aside but expect that it will travel with me. I use the Personna blades. The DE blades are just too flexible to control.
Enjoy!
