Hello Everyone from Toronto
Hello!
I am new to straight razors. I started usign them 3 -4 mnths ago. I have 3 Stiz 1957 and 1960 i kind of honed them with norton stone, and recently i bough a DOVO (so much bigger and heavier than Stiz that Stiz seemes now like toothpicks). As for strop i am using an old Russian Red Army belt.

This is funny, I have all those razors as you do. 2 Stiz and the Dovo.
I like Russian blades, they might be small, but shave very good.
If you do not have a finishing stone yet try the chromium oxide film from
leevalley
