Looking at scuttles

I love scuttles, I have two, and just ordered my SWK scuttle today....decided to go for the basic black and white, with the lid. Don't think I need a large or extra large one, and opted for the one without the brush soaker.

Can't wait to see it.....:-)

The White Dog scuttle, handcrafted by another SRP member's wife, so far has been the best I've tried, perfect...so it will have some steep competition...but will report back for sure.

There's nothing better to add to the shave than hot lather. I guess that's why it's supposed to be a "hot shave".

I have never paid much attention to scuttles before, never used one..
After reading this thread it would seem that I really need to try it out!
Perhaps before buying one, I will get a deep dish of hot water and float my shave bowl in it.
Don't know if it will be the same, but maybe give me a taste.

Definitely don't like cold lather..

For me scuttles are only for winters. In the summer I actually rather prefer the lather to be cold.

That will work Mike. It will be close enough to get hooked, i mean test out.
