    Default "The" Shave Den

    OK David,

I bow to your talent, ingenuity, and razor collecting prowess. I've casually tossed about the term "shave den" to refer to the fact that I have a couple of razors, 2 strops, 3 varieties of soap & cream, a brush, a mug in my bathroom. You, my friend, have a shave den.

I have a case of RAD, but it's in its infancy and has a couple of obstacles to overcome - money and how to acquire new razors without my wife noticing. I'm working on both of them. Your fantastic razor rack is a source of inspiration. Well done!

    Kelly,

Wow, rotation schedules for razors! I don't think I'm rich enough to develop that kind of RAD. I guess I could sell the grand piano I have 2 razors and am trying to figure out how to get more without getting "caught".

Any sage advice for a newbie?

get razors with the same colored scales and only keep one in plain view at a time

Nice work. I hope to have the problem of where to keep all my razors some day. Right now I have 4 straights a DE on the way and two Rolls Razors. I have a drawer in my dresser that I cleaned out to keep every thing in along with my paddle strop hones and shave mug. So I guess for a beginner I have a decent collection.
