I am married thats why my modest collection is in a drawer. My wife doesn't want it in the bathroom. Altho the DE on it's way is more for her than me so maybe that will help.
I also mentioned turning the pantry in our hallway into a half bath and she liked that Idea. So maybe I can turn that into a shave den.

Just amazing. I'm particularly impressed with what you did for your brushes and the economy of space. My guess is that most "retro shavers" have more than one razor and more than one brush and it puzzles me that vendors leave it up to the consumer's own devices to solve the storage problem.

I used pipe holders to hang my straights and someone's making me some brush stands out of coconut shells to hang the brushes. Last weekend I bought an enclosure out of cypress wood to house my things.

Looking at that makes me wish I could make my own things. I tried to retrofit a pipe holder into a brush stand and ruined the thing.

Straight razor shaver and loving it!

I do believe I just laughed my arse off at that one! I must use it. As much as my English wife striping me up and down excites me, I do fear for my life sometimes.

Alembic, I'll be very honest: I'm not the biggest fan of uncontrolled RAD, and I seriously dislike the messy, helter-skelter nature of most people's shaving dens. However, I must congratulate you on finding a novel and tasteful way to organize your razors. It's one of the best I've ever seen.

    Alembic,

Over the last couple of weeks i've been thinking about building the "shave den" you have shown us.
Never had any ideas to build something as beautiful, though....but you have provided me with just that!!
Now i only have the wife to convince that i need this .

Beautiful work, Alembic!!! I like!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

    Regards,

    RazorBack

P.s.: at the same time you have infected me with a SEVERE CASE of RAD just by seing this work of art..........
