Thanked: 1160When I get a pair I'll let you know how they perform.I feel it's one less thing I have to worry about relying on the electric grid for.No batteries, noise or cords.Just my own hands to power it.If they work everybit as good as my electric ones, then it's hello thrift store for the electrics. We shall see.Thats why I like my straight blade as well. It's the feeling of accomplishment and self reliance I get. Nothing to readily wear out,no sending anything back to be repaired as far as mechanical intricasies etc. and one less thing to make me a slave to the man. Thanks for seeing my vision and good shave to ya m8te!

Thanked: 3795I've used one for years. It works just like an electric clippers, only slower and more quietly, but functionally it works just fine--kind of like my push reel lawnmower.

Thanked: 3795If you mean the motion, it is smooth, like using any sort of spring-loaded tool. I would have elaborated on its use earlier if I had realized you wanted to know. I use a comb and scissors to cut my hair so I only use the clippers for trimming along the bottom, but it cuts hair with a clean smooth motion. I can't think of anything else to tell you but just ask if you have any other question about it.
