sorry for the late reply, i kinda forgot about this post ^_^ yes, i am pretty new to straights, i've been shaving with one for about 2 months now, i think. also, i was thinking of buying the razor later on, maybe in a year or so.

Classic Shaving, from what I've heard is a good site to purchase shaving equipment from. As for the Silverwing Edition razor...If you're new to straight razor shaving, you indeed may want to make it a "special purchase" as in a Christmas or birthday present, imho.

its a very good site, i recently purchased a 4k/8k norton waterstone, and a 7-razor case. and i was planning on making it a special purchase
once i get better ofcourse.
